If you’re looking for a unique way to enjoy Dubai’s most famous landmarks, the Dubai Fountain Boat Ride is an experience worth trying. Step aboard a traditional wooden Abra and glide across the calm waters of the Dubai Fountain Lake. From your seat on the boat, you’ll be right in front of the world’s largest performing fountain as it comes to life in a spectacular show of water, light, and music. With the Burj Khalifa towering above, it’s one of the most memorable views you can have in Downtown Dubai.

When the show begins, the fountains shoot high into the air, moving beautifully with the rhythm of the music. The mix of lights, colour, and sound creates a truly magical atmosphere. It’s amazing to see how the water dances in perfect timing, sometimes reaching speeds of up to 15 metres per second. With the Burj Khalifa shining right above you, the whole moment feels almost cinematic.
Price: AED 65 per person (subject to change)
Timings: Every 30 minutes from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Tips for the Best Experience
Book ahead: Evening rides are very popular, especially on weekends.
Arrive early: Try to be at the dock 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
Go at sunset: The fountains look even more beautiful when the sky turns from gold to deep blue and the Burj Khalifa lights up for the night.
The View at The Palm: Dubai’s Skyline from Above
If you want to see Dubai from a completely new angle, The View at The Palm is the place to go. Located 240 metres above the ground, this observation deck gives you an incredible view of the Palm Jumeirah, one of the city’s most famous landmarks. From up here, you can see the island’s curved fronds stretching out into the Arabian Gulf, lined with beaches, villas, and resorts that sparkle in the sun.

It’s the kind of view that makes you stop and take a deep breath. The mix of blue water, golden sand, and city skyline feels almost unreal. You really get to see how much creativity and ambition went into building this man-made island, which added more than 78 kilometres of coastline to Dubai.
